The Latino Studies website offered by Indiana University showcases a large deal of content not only about the program, but about Latino oriented subject matter. It lists all the Latino Studies courses that are offered and gives bios of the Latino Studies faculty. The site's navigation remains the same on all pages so one never feels lost. There are links to newsletters containing Latino Studies information. There are also links that display different news and events. A photo gallery is also offered, but the only image shown is that of Jorge Chapa, the program director, while the rest of the images do not display.
Courses Offered
There are a total of 10 undergraduate and 1 graduate courses offered in the Latino Studies department. There are also "courses offered by other departments, which contain significant Latino content, [which] may be taken for elective credit". There are 3 courses available in the English department, 1 in the Sociology department and 4 in the Spanish and Portuguese departments giving a total of 19 courses available.
Program Structure
There is currently neither a minor nor a major available in Latino Studies at Indiana University, but "plans are underway to offer an undergraduate minor and a doctoral minor in Latino Studies in the near future".

The main campus out of Indiana University's 8 campuses resides Bloomington, Indiana. The largest minority group in Bloomington is the African-American population which is 8.4% of the total population. The "Hispanic/Latino" population is 3.5%.
